Winter Weather System

Kenora residents are starting to dig out from the worst storm of this winter.

More than 20 centimeters of snow fell over the past couple of days, not including rain and ice pellets on Saturday.

Geoff Coulson is a severe weather specialist for Environment Canada and says to add insult to injury, the weather is going to get very cold this week.

Coulson says areas in the far north are still experiencing the brunt of the winterstorm, which is now centered north of Thunder Bay.
