Train Derailment Waldof

No word on if Canadian Pacific has been able to clean up the mess left by a train derailment yesterday morning in Waldof, west of Dryden.

Spokesperson Michael LoVecchio says clean-up crews were expected to arrive at the site late yesterday afternoon and notes that the Waldof crossing was expected to reopen for motorists.

LoVecchio now says 17-cars, which were transporting grain, left the tracks, up from the previously reported 11.

He stresses no one was injured and there was no danger to the public.
