The Whitecap Pavillion is going to be transformed this weekend.Crystal Stokes is the city's special events co-ordinator and says they will
be making over the skating rink under the tent and putting in a curling rink.
Stokes says the change over is in honor of Olympic Gold medalist Jill Officer coming to town.
Officer will be on hand for the opening ceremonies of the Winter Carnival Friday night.
