A Red Lake resident has been named one of the most influential women in northern Ontario.Dani Drewek received the Tradeswoman of the Year award at the 17th Annual Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards in Thunder Bay last week.
Drewek is a Cage Tender at Goldcorp in Red Lake.
Meanwhile, an Atikokan teen is among the winners of the Influential Women of Northern Ontario awards.
Kiara Gannon is the recipient of the Essay Scholarship award.
The awards were handed out in Thunder Bay recently.
A total of 13-women were honoured at the event.
