Statistics from the local detachment shows policing costs so far in 2011 are not only on target, but actually under budget.
Inspector Dave Lucas says through the first six months of this fiscal year, they have spent 3.14 million dollars.
That's just over 200 thousand dollars than they had projected. Lucas adds that their overtime costs are less than expected.
