Kenora's Fire and Emergency Services Department says its pleased with they way emergency calls are being dispatched in the city.Fire Chief Warren Brinkman is recommending that city council extend a
contract with the Kenora Central Ambulence Communications Center.
Brinkman says they budget about 50 thousand dollars a year for dispatching calls to the fire department.
He says the Communications Center is a state of the art facility and has worked
very well since it was opened a couple of years ago.
