OPP Cracking Down On Sale of Stolen Goods

The OPP in Kenora say they are cracking down on the sale of stolen goods.

Inspector Dave Lucas says they've noticed a steady increase in the amount of break-ins, theft and shoplifting complaints in the city.

He says it's one thing to arrest the suspects, but it's another issue trying to find the people actually buying the stolen items.

Statistics released by the OPP show there were almost twice as many theft complaints this past March as there were for the same time last year.
