Confederation College and Hydro One are offering a pre-apprentice program together.The Provincial Utility is giving the school 750-thousand dollars for the initiative.
College President Jim Madder says the program should be open for the inaugural class in the Spring.
It's a four year program that will focus on skilled trades, such as electricians.
