The Liberal Government has been handed a 6-thousand signature petition calling for the reinstatement of the Ontario Park Ranger program.The 68 year old course was instrumental in providing youth with experience, outdoor skills and an opportunity to travel.
NDP Natural Resources Critic John Vanthof says it was a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.
The program was successful in several communities across northwestern Ontario.
