The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is one of many school boards in Ontario yet to ratify a new contract with Elementary and High School teachers.Director of Education Sean Monteith says they continue to work with all parties to ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.
Monteith says they plan to append the memorandum of understanding with teachers by the end of September.
The public school board is hoping it will be business
as usual at area schools and that extra-curricular activities will continue.
