30 local high school students are getting a crash course in emergency preparedness tonight.
As part of emergency preparedness week the students are taking part in an overnight evacuation drill.
Firefighter Earl Bichon says the drill will cover every step of an evacuation.
Bichon says the students will also get presentations from different services about what their roles are during an emergency situation.
