Funding has become available for the Rainy River Gold Project.The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency is providing over 122 thousand dollars which will go to support public participation in the federal environmental assessment.
The proposed underground project will produce about 20,000 tonnes of ore per day.
The gold project is about 80 kilometers south of Kenora.
