The Kenora and District Chamber of Commerce is warning local businesses about a possible scam that could be coming to town. Local police have advised the Chamber that a number of people from Winnipeg may try to pass off counterfeit cheques from a company called Diversity Food Services Inc.
The OPP says while the company appears to be legitimate the address on the cheques is fake.
