NAN Fights against Boreal Forest Agreement

The Grand Chief of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation continues to fight against the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement.

Stan Beardy is leading the call for its termination because first nations in this region have not been adequately consulted.

Beardy had originally called for the agreement to be terminated by mid-March.

The CBFA is made up of 21 forest companies that want to to control forest regulation.
