Fiecek Rink Loses First Game At National Wheelchair Championships

The Wayne Fiecek Foursome from Northern Ontario has lost its first game at the National Wheelchair Curling Championships, taking place in Edmonton.

The Fiecek Rink dropped a 9-5 decision to Manitoba in the first draw last night at the Jasper Center Curling Club.

The game was tied heading into the 8th end, when Fiecek gave up four to Manitoba.

Team Northern Ontario will look for its first win this morning against Nova Scotia in the second draw.
