Study Shows Northern Youth Overweight


Junior and senior high students in northern Ontario are are more obsese or overweight than their counterparts in sourthern Ontario.

That's according to the Center for Addiction and Mental Health.

Author of the report Doctor Robert Mann says they also found that about 30 per cent of students indicated feeling anxious, stressed or depressed.

Twenty-four per cent of students surveyed indicated having sought out mental health care over the past year.
