OPP Stats 2009

The OPP in Kenora are taking a harder stance on those breaching the terms of their probation.

Inspector Dave Lucas says they are assigning officers to check on known offenders.

Lucas notes there's a slight decrease in the amount of reported crime in Kenora, with 1-thousand 637 incidents in 2009.
