New Board Governance Model

The Lake of the Woods District Hospital wants to change the way its hosptial board operates.

The board is considering a corporate model, that would mean they wouldn't take part in the municipal elections this October.

Chair Debbie Baldwin says they're looking for feedback from the community and want to know what the public would like to see in their hospital board.

Further meetings are planned on the topic in the future, and a new board model could be in place before the June annual general meeting.
