With funding for the Experimental Lakes Area, East of Kenora, set to expire at the end of the month, the group Save ELA continues to fight.Peter Kirby says they are now looking to gain more support by the Ontario government as they have more negotiating power.
Kirby says right now the Ontario government is not willing to take on the risk of cleaning up the lakes if it takes over the facility but feels they can work out a partnership with the federal government.
