Minnesota Man Charged for Impaired Driving


A man from Minnesota is facing an impaired driving charge in the city.

Kenora O.P.P say on Saturday evening they pulled a vehicle over on highway 17 inside city limits.

Police say the driver, 28-year old Matthew Lehto, failed a roadside test administered by the officer.

Lehto will appear in Kenora court on April 25th to answer to the charge of exceeding the legal limit.

Also, the Kenora O.P.P are reminding the public about illegal parking in handicapped spaces.

Any vehicle caught parking in a designated spot without a permit will receive a $300 ticket.
