Mayor Dave Canfield sees the federal budget as a good thing for the city and the region.Canfield says that with the forestry and mining sectors taking off they are ready to train new workers.
Canfield adds he is also excited about the increased funding for infrastructure as the city prepares to begin phase 3 of the downtown revitalization project.
He adds is also very excited about the gas tax changes, and having more money available for affordable housing.
