Brad Duguid Thunder Bay

Ontario's Native Affairs Minister Brad Duguid says building strong First Nations economies will help the province's economy.

Duguid was in Thunder Bay where area first nation leaders have begun working on a long-term strategic plan.

Duguid says the introduction of the Green Energy act and the new Mining Act are providing increased business opportunities for First Nations.
