Cancer Society Raises Awareness of Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic cancer is a silent killer for many Canadians.

Northwest Manager of the Canadian Cancer Society Maria Cabral says 47-hundred people will be diagnosed with it this year, and 43-hundred of them will die from it.

However, Cabral says a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society can go a long way in helping to find a cure.

As this is National Pancreatic Awareness Month, Cabral says they have put this into their strategic plan.
