It was almost an NDP sweep of northern Ontario. The New Democrats held onto the Kenora-Rainy River Riding and won at least three more.
Sarah Campbell topped the polls locally and says repeated visits by her party leader during the election certainly helped the campaign.
Meanwhile, Conservative candidate Rod McKay says he's disappointed that Ontario could have to endure four more years of Dalton McGuinty.
