Beaver Brae's football team will start packing up its gear for another year today.The Broncos post-season hopes were dashed on Friday in Winnipeg with a 15-14 loss to Murdoch McKay in a thrilling game at the Eastside Stadium.
Despite the loss, Beaver Brae head coach Chris Penner says he was proud of the way his team played.
Scott Morgan scored a 51 yard touchdown in the third quarter for the Broncos and Cody Jones had a four yard touchdown reception for the other major.
The Broncos held a 14-8 lead in midway through the fourth quarter before giving up their only touchdown of the day to Murdoch McKay.
