AbitibiBowater Fort Frances Shut Down

The AbitibiBowater mill in Fort Frances is shut down indefinitelyafter a problem in the effluent treatment system.

The mill's treatment system exceeded its daily biochemical oxygendemand limit due to the cold weather.

The company says it is not possible to say how long it will bedown or how many of the 565 employees will be affected.
