Two trailers filled with several bags and boxes of children's clothing, diapers and food items are on their way to Pikagikum First Nation.
The items were collected last month by Family and Children Services Rainy River.
Constable Anne McCoy is the O-P-P is helping FACS with the delivery.
Six employees with FACS are also making the day long journey to the remote community north of Red Lake.

Municipal Elections
Local residents have nine months to decide whether they want to run in this year's municipal elections.
Nomination forms have been available since January 4th, but so far, no-one has expressed interest in any of the races.
Joanne McMillin is the city clerk and says people can drop by her office for the nomination forms.
Elections will be held for Kenora city council, mayor, local school boards and the Lake of the Woods Hospital Board on October 25th.

Fort Frances Fatal
The OPP in Fort Frances are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a one month old baby girl.
Rhianna Gosselin-Allen passed away at a Winnipeg Hospital on Monday.
A post-mortem exam was conducted in Winnipeg onTuesday, but the results of the autopsy are not yet complete.
Members of the North West Region Forensic Identification Unit are assisting the OPP's Criminal Investigation Branch in Kenora.

OPP in Northwestern Ontario are actively seeking new information into 11 unsolved homocide cases.
The murder of Susan Assin in Kenora in 1974 is one of the cases on the OPP's website.
