The region is mourning the death of a prominent local businessman. Harvey Friesen passed away suddenly on Sunday in Palm Springs, California at the age of 65.
Friesen was well known in Thunder Bay as President of Bearskin Airlines, which he co-owned with his brother Cliff.
Despite selling Bearkin in 2011 to Exchange Income Corporation, the Friesen brothers continued to run the airline.
