The outgoing President of Confederation College has received a National award.Pat Lang has received the ACCC Distinguished Service Award.
The award is for outstanding leadership and service in the Canadian College system.
Lang was recognized for her advocacy in getting students the advanced skills education they need in Northern Ontario.
Lang has more than doubled the apprenticeship opportunities for Northerners and developed new contract training opportunities for 50-Aboriginal communities.
