Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty says a review is needed as the program no longer serve it's original purpose of filling seasonal gaps.
Rafferty says its become a full blown affair under the Conservatives.
Red Lake Mayor Phil Vinet calls the suspension unfair to those who rely on the program to survive and says the move threatens some businesses in his community.
