Library Lobbies for Federal Funding Program

The Kenora Public Library is seeking help from city council to fight a recent federal budget cut.

The government is doing away with its Communty Access Program Sustainability funding.

Councillor Ron Lunny says it will mean a loss of just 37 hundred dollars from the Library's bottom line.

He says while its not a lot of money, every penny counts these days in times of tight budget.
