The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has received a grant from the Ministry of Education for 75 thousand dollars to help aboriginal students.Superintendant of Education, Sean Monteith says they have a number of ideas of how they want to use the funding.
Monteith says they have applied for a number of grants from the province
specifically targeting aboriginal student achievement.
