Premier Dalton McGuinty is defending his decision to add theaboriginal affairs portfolio to Attorney General Chris Bentley's duties.
McGuinty says his government isn't amalgamating or merging ministries, but rather, having one minister in charge of separate ministries.
Yesterday's shuffle brings four new faces to the cabinet table as McGuinty sets his Liberal's lineup ahead of the 2011 election.
Newcomers include Sofia Aggelonitis as minister of consumer services, Bruce's Carol Mitchell inagriculture, Linda Jeffrey in natural resources and Dr. Eric Hoskinsin citizenship and immigration.
